To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what estimate she has made of the comparative cost of accommodating asylum seekers in (a) hotels and (b) Ministry of Defence sites per person per night.

The Government has been very clear that hotels are not suitable for use to house asylum seekers and are committed to closing every single one and returning them to the communities for their intended use. The cost per person per night for any accommodation...
