Kieran Mullan MP: written questions

4 Jul 2024–3 Jul 2025

How these years work

Our reporting years run from 4 July to 3 July, starting with the 2024 general election. They are not official parliamentary sessions. Office costs keep IPSA’s April–March financial years. Records may cover only part of a year; a missing record does not mean no work was done.

Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, if she will publish the (a) justice impact test and (b) new burdens assessment her Department has undertaken on the Renters’ Rights Bill.

Answer: Justice Impact Tests are internal government documents which are not usually published by government. We will set out the funding we are making available to local authorities to meet new burdens arising from the Renters’ Rights Bill in due course.
